About us

An aromatic palette

To taste our Armagnacs is to discover treasures of diversity and complexity.

It's an authentic, natural aromatic palette, where the taste of life resurfaces, where everything is a question of curiosity and gourmandise.

Each Armagnac is unique.

To make the most of an encounter with a blend or a vintage, you have to take the time to discover it, to meet it.

You need patience. Time slows down, lengthens, all the senses are awakened.

"A suggestion, once the glass is empty, warm it between your hands and smell the delicate aromas, prune, spices, rancio or vanilla."

Craftsmanship

Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants is an artisanal company that uses ancestral know-how to raise venerable eaux-de-vie from a work of excellence.

"In our cellars time stands still, patience is our ally."

It's an ambitious program for enchanting Bas-Armagnacs.

Treasures of the house

The treasure room is the realm of vintage Armagnacs. They are bottled and classified from 1969 to 1888.

They capture the secrets and adventures of a particular year, and have the wisdom or anger of their era.

They represent an exception in the field of eaux-de-vie, and are the result of "hand-stitching".

That's why we give them our full attention.

La maison

La Maison is located in the heart of southwest France, at the center of a triangle formed by Bordeaux, Pau and Toulouse.

"This whole region is an intertwining of vineyards, rivers, crops and woods."

In the midst of this paradise, the sweetness of this landscape is concentrated in Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants and also manifests its delights in the Armagnac brandy stored in our cellars.

Armagnacs with character

Our eaux-de-vie are aged in pedunculate oak barrels ranging from 200 to 400 liters. Thanks to the burning of the pieces and the wood's tannin, unsuspected aromas are revealed and explode after maturation.

"Our habits and customs consecrate Armagnacs of character in a realm of chiaroscuro where angels watch over our masterpieces."
